  :: i been playing this test for a few days and i got to say… SCREW TEAM HUNTER! i been playing this test for a few days and i got to say... SCREW TEAM HUNTER! That game mode is fine for the most part but it's the score multiplier that sucks, it's so unfair and not thought out. I had matches where where my team only has like 70 points where the enemy team has 400, it's such bs. it literally makes it impossible for the losing to to make a comeback.   :: As a (somewhat) new player, I gotta say: If Tribes 3 is the worst this franchise has to offer, the other games must be incredible. As a (somewhat) new player, I gotta say: If Tribes 3 is the worst this franchise has to offer, the other games must be incredible. I say somewhat because I did play Ascend back when I was in middle school (crazy how long ago that game was), on a laptop at a blistering 20fps. But I played the shit out of it until that laptop broke. So when I heard there was a new game coming out just last night, I was hyped and immediately signed up to test, and I am having a fucking blast. This is just as fun as I remember Ascension being when I was a kid. So during breaks, I decided to check out what other people's opinions were, and was surprised to find how critical people were being. Don't get me wrong, now is the best time to be critical, and in the long run this will only lead to a better game, but still surprised me just how much people dislike it so far with how much fun I'm having. But if anything, this gives me hope. If a game this fun can be hated by veteran Tribes players, that tells me that A: this formula is so good that even at it's worst it's still fun and B: the old games I haven't gotten around to playing must be mind blowing.   :: Tribes 3: Oceanic Server (OCE) Tribes 3: Oceanic Server (OCE) Just a heads up, a dedicated Oceanic Discord server has been organised by the community to help with the hosting of lobbies. This has been the Discord server mainly used to host most of these, where so far we've reached above 50 members and have been able to get an 8v8 before the growth and frequent lobbies! It's a process, as the OCE server isn't as large as the NA scene. We have plans to organise pugs overtime with the player count as it’d make sense, however I want it to be clear that it’s merely part of the community, not a focus. We want a community for everyone in the Oceanic region after all, be it newbies, casuals or pug players. I know some weird shit tribes ancend came out years after but it sucked. Now I see Tribes 3 is coming out, is this game gonna be pay? I cant imagen that free games are a hit wonder. I would gladly pay big bucks for a good tribes game with a good community. Are there still tribes vengeance servers with active players online?
